PRELIMINARY PROJET FOR BUILDING APARTMENTS IN LIMA, PERU.
Year: 2011
Clients: International Competition
Location: Lima, Peru
Built-up area: 11.935m2

The building proposal originated after the idea to gather the Pacific Ocean's winds: its invisible movement is captured in the building's façade and its renewable capacity is impulsed by the vertical column for the building's ventilation.
The project divides in 15 floors with two apartments each and a first floor which hosts more public activities such as the administration, vehicle and pedestrian access and a caffe. Over the rooftop is a swimming-pool and a semi-covered terrace which has panoramic views of the surroundings.
The apartments, with 220m2 each, have North and South orientation. The main bedroom and living room are oriented to the golf course (North) and both spaces can be added together by a sliding wall that allows to open the total width of the apartment towards the golf course. The service area and the guest bedroom are oriented to the South.
The central space is in charge of illuminating and ventilating the areas that are located in the central space of the building.
